 Conversation on the new Google+

+David Amerland +Teodora Petkova +martin shervington +Zara Altair A conversation about conversation on the new Google+ Google+ has shifted focus to Collections and Communities. How do we go about continuing and building our conversations in the new environment? Does engagement still matter? Which dots are connecting? Join the conversation.

Many suggestions in this conversation about how to approach others on the new Google+ update.

Collections as a focus for interest. People who have similar specific interests may follow a collection because that is what they like, even if they do not follow you as a person on Google+. Because of the targeted interest people who might not follow you as a person will still interact with you on a specific topic.

" quote="The most important thing is not the tool, but what's in your heart. "]And what do you want to tell other people?

If you know what you want to tell, if you know what you are looking for, you will not be afraid of the tools and the technology. You will only be able to make the best use of them, knowing that you have something you need to share with others.

If you are struggling with the new format on Google+ this conversation will guide you on where to spend your time and how to connect and engage with other people.
